The Grip Trix Big Boss is a hard working powerful 6x6 ATV that we’ve customized for the film industry. It offers numerous rigid aluminum cheeseplate panels and a haul and dump rear cargo box—perfect for transporting people and equipment on the set or for use in tracking shots.

This workhorse has a 1,500 lb. tow capacity, true 6-wheel independent suspension, automatic transmission for smooth acceleration, active descent braking control, dual a-arm rear suspension, hydraulic disk brakes, and 10.5 inches ground clearance.

The front deck can easily handle a 100 lb. load, while the rear takes on 800 lbs., with a total load capacity of 1,200 lbs. The overall dimensions are 112” x 48” x 48” (lwh) with a wheel base of 79.5 inches. Out of the trailer, this unit weighs in at 1300 lbs.

The Big Boss is regularly used in feature film production due to its unequaled flexibility and usefulness on the set.

This is a gas-powered dolly, which means you can be out in the middle of nowhere and as long as you have a tank of gas, you’re good for the long haul—no other power source required! The Big Boss does not require special fuel, and has a 4.1 gallon fuel tank capacity. Remote head/Mitchell Mount capable and Steadicam ready.
